Weddings and gala events are a natural at the Adelphi.

Wedding Reception Package

We have especially concentrated on simplifying and streamlining the plans we offer. We have researched the services provided in this regard by other local hotels and caterers and often found a tangle of overly complicated and often incomprehensible "packages" which involve hidden costs.

We would like to point out many of the items that are included in our one overall price --- items for which you are often charged separately at other establishments:

There is no separate rental fee for the room
Top shelf liquor is available throughout the open bar period
Cordials are available following dinner as part of the open bar
There is no extra charge for the butlering of hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour
If the ceremony is to be held at the Adelphi, there is no extra charge
All the flowers for the lobby, bar and ballroom are included in the price --- these include many very large arrangements as well as lavish arrangements for each table
No extra charge for the champagne toast before dinner
No extra charge for bartenders
Use of the lobby and bar and courtyard for the cocktail hour, giving guests a wider range of locations for the entire reception and not merely a single room
No charge for cake cutting
The wedding cake is included in the price and lavish floral decorations for the cake
No extra charge for colored napkins or tablecloths
We do not add a 17 - 20% service charge --- tips are included in the overall price

Additionally, our weddings and parties are elaborately detailed and we schedule only one wedding per week. Please feel free to call for an appointment to see our hotel and its facilities.

RECEPTION PRICES

FORMAL DINNER

$115 Per Adult Guest
$35 Per Child (under 10)

MINIMUMS

A minimum of 120 Adult Guests is required.
You may of course, invite fewer guests than that
But, you will be charged for 120.

PAYMENT TERMS

$1500.00 Deposit required when the reservation is made.

14 Days prior to the Event

We need a final count of the number
of guests expected to attend.

10 Days prior to the Event

Full payment for the entire remaining amount is due.
Only certified checks are accepted. No credit cards please.

OUR PACKAGE INCLUDES:

RENTAL of Lobby, Bar, Courtyard and Ballroom

SEVERAL LARGE FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS (in Lobby, Bar and Ballroom and lavish bouquets on all the tables)

ONE-HOUR COCKTAIL RECEPTION (served in the Lobby, Bar and Courtyard)

HORS D'OEUVRES:

	Cheese Board (several imported and domestic cheeses and crackers and fresh fruit and berries)

	Fresh Crudités and Homemade Dip

	Six other hors d'oeuvres chosen from our list and served by circulating waiters

FULL OPEN BAR (for 5 hours including the Cocktail Hour)

CHAMPAGNE TOAST (preceding the dinner, served in the Ballroom after guests are seated)*

**We need to be notified two weeks in advance with the number of guests receiving which of the three entrees!
